Vasten Lighting was founded in 2011 in Shenzhen, China’s core photoelectric manufacturing hub. Vertical manufacturing: why it matters for buyers
Most traders resell signs made by unknown subcontractors. Vasten controls the full chain in-house:
- SMD LED packing – binned reels for uniform color/CCT, reduced chromatic deviation across batches.
- Neon flex production – silicone co-extrusion and eco-PVC mini profiles; 5mm / 5×12mm / 8×16mm / 12V / 24V options; RGB and addressable dream-color.

Custom handmade LED neon signs
Text, logos, wedding lines (“Mr & Mrs”, monograms, dates), bar/restaurant words (“BAR”, “OPEN”, “COCKTAILS”), retail branding, Halloween/Christmas/seasonal art. Silicone or eco-PVC flex on acrylic/metal; 12V/24V; single color, RGB or dream-color; dimmable; MOQ friendly for prototypes and events.
Mini LED neon flex
Slim profiles such as 5×12mm silicone and 8×16mm PVC; SMD2835 around 108 LEDs/m on selected mini programs; 12V/24V; small bend radii for letters, outlines and architectural detail; cut lengths vary by model (e.g., 2.77cm on selected 12V mini programs).
RGB & dream-color neon flex
SMD5050/SMD2835 addressable and non-addressable options; 12V/24V; IP65/IP66/IP67 by jacket and project; APP/IR/RF/DMX control for retail, esports, bars, façades and events.
High-voltage / commercial flex (selected projects)
Certain decorative and supermarket programs are offered at 120V/220–240V input with appropriate IP and compliance scope; specify application before quotation.
Outdoor and architectural options
IP65 for covered indoor/covered use, IP66 standard outdoor silicone, IP67 for exposed/outdoor-by-model, IP68 on selected configurations; all end caps, joints and cable entries resealed with neutral-cure silicone.
Quality system: four gates before every shipment
Vasten applies a 30-QC / 20-engineer workflow across four stages.
- IQC (Incoming): LED bins, SMD reels, silicone/PVC jackets, PCBs, drivers, acrylic/metal, end caps and connectors audited; reject yellowing/brittle PVC; verify CE/RoHS/FCC status, UL on selected models.
- IPQC (In-process): CNC/laser path vs approved vector; hand-bend audit for script/tight radii; solder joints, polarity, 12V/24V layout; voltage-drop calculation for long runs; cut/reconnect verification.
- FQC (Final): 24–48h continuous full-brightness burn-in for custom handmade signs; 48–72h on selected lounge/batch programs; uniformity check (no dark spots/strobe/shift); RGB scene testing; hipot/insulation/grounding; thermal check; IP spray/immersion per rated level.
- OQC (Outgoing): visual cleaning, accessory confirmation (driver/dimmer/plug/mounting/instructions/compliance docs), export crating, pre-shipment photos/reports for B2B/OEM.
Result: latent failures are removed in Shenzhen, not at the client’s bar, store or venue.
